John T. Claypool
John graduated from Seattle University in 1971 with a degree in Business Administration and began his real estate career with Longview Mortgage Co. in 1974. He worked as a property manager, but appraising quickly became his passion. Longview Mortgage was partnered with three residential construction companies, provided mortgage financing for new and existing homes and developed a number of subdivisions in Longview and Kelso. The various facets of the business provided for a well rounded base for real estate appraising. In 1978, he and his wife, Connie, started Claypool Appraisal Service and they have been in business continuously since then. John devotes his spare time to family, the Pioneer Lions Club and golf when there’s time. He enjoys appraising and continues to work with his valued clients. See John's Qualifications Here

Josh Claypool
Josh has been appraising with Claypool Appraisal Service since June 2001. He is a Washington State certified residential real estate appraiser. Josh began working with Claypool Appraisal Service in 1996 by filing, gathering data, packaging reports and running deliveries. He graduated from Washington State University in May 2001, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with emphasis in Real Estate. Additionally, Josh has continued his education by taking various appraisal courses through the Appraisal Institute. He is an active member of the Longview Pioneer Lions Club, attending weekly meetings and working several of their community service projects throughout the year. Josh also enjoys spending time with his wife Amanda, going to the beach, going golfing, and just being with family and friends. See Josh's Qualifications Here
